Deliver compassionate care at Selkirk Seniors Village as a Casual Health Care Aide in Victoria, BC. This role supports residents with daily activities while fostering a respectful setting.

As a Health Care Aide, you will report to the Director of Care and be a vital team member. Your responsibilities will include personal care for residents, monitoring their well-being, and ensuring their dignity and rights are upheld. Experience in long-term care is preferred as you'll assist with meals, hygiene, and mobility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Respond promptly to call bells and alarms
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions




• Assist residents with meal service and nutritional needs
• Perform laundry and maintain residents' personal environments

Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Care Aide Program
• Active registration with the BC Care Aide Registry
• FoodSafe Level 1 Certificate is an asset
• Previous experience in long-term care is preferred
• Pass a vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check
