About Cuddles Learning Cuddles Learning is a Toronto-based education company helping children develop future-ready skills through engaging STEAM programs. CurioCamp is our online learning platform for children aged 6–12. Rather than teaching digital art as an isolated skill, we use Pixel Art, Minecraft Education, coding, and game-design challenges to help children develop creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
We are looking for a Pixel Art Problem-Solving Curriculum Development Intern to help design engaging learning experiences that combine creative problem-solving, visual communication, and game-design thinking.
Internship Details Duration: 4 months
Type: Unpaid Internship
Location: Remote What You’ll Do Develop engaging Pixel Art problem-solving curriculum and lesson plans for children aged 6–12.
Design project-based activities where students solve creative game-design and visual problems.
Turn learning objectives into clear, age-appropriate, step-by-step lessons.
Create teacher guides, student worksheets, presentation slides, and classroom resources.
Incorporate the Principles and Elements of Art into learning activities.
Design challenges that build logical thinking, planning, visual communication, creativity, and iteration.
Collaborate with curriculum developers and graphic designers to maintain a consistent learning experience.
Conduct educational research to improve lesson quality and learning outcomes.
Test and refine curriculum based on feedback.
Who You Are A student or recent graduate in Education, Instructional Design, Game Design, Digital Media, Fine Arts, EdTech, or a related field.
Passionate about children’s education, creativity, and problem-solving.
Strong at curriculum writing, lesson planning, or organizing educational content.
Able to turn complex ideas into engaging, easy-to-follow activities for children aged 6–12.
Creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable thinking from a child learner’s perspective.
A solid written communicator who can explain activities clearly.
Comfortable using tools such as Google Slides, Canva, PowerPoint, or similar platforms.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience creating pixel art or digital illustrations.
Experience with game design or game-based learning.
Experience developing educational content or curriculum for children.
Familiarity with Minecraft Education, Scratch, or similar educational technology.
Understanding of project-based learning or child-centered education.
