Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and experience in food handling and cashiering.

Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and answering questions
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food counter area in compliance with food safety regulations
Restock supplies and ensure the counter is well-organized at all times
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales




Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Assist with general kitchen duties as needed during overnight hours

Skills
Proven experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments
Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, and cash handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is preferred
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
Solid communication skills and attention to detail for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service excellence

Pay: From $16.75 per hour
