Support clients as an Activity Coordinator in a Mobile Adult Day Centre. Assist with daily living tasks and promote engaging activities, ensuring client well-being and safety in all environments.
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, you will assist clients with their essential daily activities and support various recreational programs. The role requires driving to transport items for services and building meaningful relationships with those you assist. It will also involve direct collaboration with staff and volunteers to create a vibrant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help clients with Activities of Daily Living
• Operate a vehicle for delivering ADC supplies
• Facilitate sports and handicraft activities
• Build rapport and communicate effectively with clients
• Monitor and report on client well-being
Requirements:
• Grade 12 plus Rehabilitation Assistant Program
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred
• Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe
• Valid Class 5 driver's license; Class 4 preferred
• Robust communication and prioritization skills
