Reporting to the Youth Wellness Hub Manager, this role demands a commitment to support gender diverse youth through community care and programs. You will work collaboratively to enhance access to mental health and wellness services. Create a welcoming environment that prioritizes their needs and builds supportive peer connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for positive youth mental health
• Oversee screening and engage clients in services
• Implement wellness initiatives and peer activities
• Direct youth towards community resources effectively
• Lead programs both virtually and in-person
Requirements:
• Lived experience with 2SLGBTQ+ populations
• At least one year in relevant support roles
• Robust communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
• Required police check and First Aid certification
