Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of baked goods including cakes, pastries, cookies, and other confections with precision and flair
Decorate cakes and desserts using various techniques to create visually appealing presentations
Follow recipes and food safety standards meticulously to ensure consistent quality and hygiene
Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling baked goods
Package baked items carefully for display or customer orders, maintaining freshness and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation and proper storage of ingredients




Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods during busy periods

Requirements
Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related food industry role; restaurant experience is highly valued
Robust skills in cake decorating, food handling, and general food preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices
Ability to operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools effectively
Excellent customer service skills to engage with customers when needed
Familiarity with packaging methods to preserve the quality of baked items for retail or takeout orders
A positive attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment
