This full time role emphasizes a person-centered approach, ensuring that the dining experiences meet the unique nutritional needs of each resident. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote quality living for all residents while maintaining compliance with regulations and budgetary guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a energetic food service team
Customize menus based on resident nutritional plans
Manage daily culinary operations efficiently
Oversee vendor partnerships and community collaborations
Ensure compliance with food safety and nutrition standards Requirements:
Minimum three years of dietary experience required
One year of leadership experience preferred
Food Safety Handler’s Certificate necessary
Membership with Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (ONTARIO ONLY)
Willing to obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check Enhance residents’ quality of life through exceptional culinary leadership at Extendicare.
