Agriculture in the Classroom Saskatchewan (AITC-SK) is seeking an energetic, organized and relationship-focused Program Coordinator, STEM & Career Programs to help students in Grades 7-12 explore careers in agriculture.
This role coordinates and delivers thinkAG Career Expos, Career Case presentations, Biotech Blast and other STEM and career initiatives across Saskatchewan. You will manage program logistics, facilitate engaging student experiences and help grow AITC-SKs STEM and career programming.
Responsibilities
Coordinate programs and events from planning to follow-up
Manage registrations, communications, volunteers, materials, budgets and logistics
Facilitate presentations and student learning experiences
Recruit and support agriculture professionals and volunteers
Build relationships with educators and industry partners
Develop program content, gather feedback and recommend improvements
Qualifications
Education or experience in agriculture, STEM, education, career development or a related field
Experience coordinating programs, events or presentations
Strong communication, organization, presentation and problem-solving skills
Experience working with youth, educators or volunteers
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with online systems for registrations and reporting
Passion for agriculture and inspiring young people
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Knowledge of Saskatchewan agriculture, experience with schools or volunteers, and French are assets.
Travel: Regular travel across Saskatchewan, including occasional evenings and overnight stays. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
