Technologist/Designer – Public Sector Location: Toronto, ON - 5 days on site $80,000-$90,000 City Build Recruitment is working with our client to recruit a Technical Designer to join their Public Buildings sector team in Toronto. Our client is widely recognized for delivering complex public-sector projects, including government buildings, cultural institutions, campuses, and civic facilities. The studio values strong technical rigor, collaboration, and design thinking. The Role As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for translating design intent into high-quality technical solutions and construction documentation. You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop efficient, coordinated, and buildable design outcomes across all phases of the project lifecycle. This role is well suited to an experienced technical professional who enjoys problem-solving, coordination, and working on meaningful public projects. Key Responsibilities Develop technical designs and produce architectural drawings that meet quality standards, project schedules, and budget requirements Support all phases of the project lifecycle, from programming and schematic design through construction documentation and delivery Conduct code research, material and building systems analysis,
