Responsibilities
Develop and deliver comprehensive math lessons aligned with curriculum standards for high school students
Create an engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and curiosity
Assess student progress regularly through tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with diverse learning styles, including those in special education programs
Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and share best practices




Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and school staff regarding academic performance and behavioral expectations
Incorporate technology and laboratory experiences to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts when appropriate

Skills
Proven experience in tutoring high school students in math or related subjects
Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management and instructional techniques
Solid knowledge of mathematics principles across various levels, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics
Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of different backgrounds
Effective communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly and fostering positive relationships
Familiarity with special education strategies to support diverse learners’ needs
Laboratory or practical experience applying mathematical theories in real-world contexts enhances instructional delivery

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
