LABOURER

We are currently recruiting Labourers to join our growing team.

$25 - $35 per hour, based on experience

General Duties & Responsibilities:
Work safely in a mining or civil construction setting following company procedures and policies
Typical duties include, but are not limited to, parts running, equipment washing, working with equipment operators, operating powered tools and hand tools, loading and unloading of supplies and equipment, light maintenance, and other duties as needed
Completing online and/or manual inspection forms as required
Work independently with little to no supervision

Requirements:




Ability to complete mandatory internet-based Orientation and Indoctrination training and certification
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean Drivers Abstract
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training
Positive communication skills
Reliable transportation

Location: This position is based out of the Kamloops / Thompson area of British Columbia. This is not a camp position. Nhwelmen Construction is a 100% indigenous owned company and a Certified Aboriginal Business by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
