Enhance athlete recovery as a part time Men's Hockey Field Therapist for the Dinos at the University of Calgary. This role supports athlete rehabilitation during home and away events. Join the medical team dedicated to enhancing the performance of the Dinos Men's Hockey Program.
As a certified Athletic Therapist, you will utilize skills in injury management, first aid, and return-to-play guidelines. Expect to work evenings and weekends, traveling for events as needed, with a focus on athlete care and emergency response preparation. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain medical supplies and athlete care kits
Activate Emergency Action Plans at venues
Administer first aid and rehabilitation therapy
Communicate effectively with staff and athletes
Complete necessary documentation for incidents and care Requirements:
Certified Athletic Therapist with CATA membership
Current BLS certification and proof of EMR/First Responder
Completion of Protected Sport training
Experience in injury assessment and management
Availability for evening and weekend shifts Bring expertise in athletic therapy and dedication to the Dinos Men's Hockey athletes at the University of Calgary.
