Join the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre as an Interpreter supporting First Nation clients. Provide essential language services to patients and ensure effective communication in healthcare settings.

In this crucial role, the Interpreter will facilitate bi-directional communication for those without English as their primary language. You'll work with service providers and patients to navigate cultural barriers while supporting care planning and service delivery. This position requires excellent communication skills, fluency in one or more First Nation languages, and a deep understanding of cross-cultural issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer interpreting services for patients and providers
• Report client queries accurately to maintain risk management




• Document daily service requests and provisions systematically
• Adhere to confidentiality and client care standards
• Execute additional tasks as needed

Requirements:
• Fluent in one or more First Nation languages
• Strong oral and written English communication skills
• Proven interpretive process proficiency
• Flexible availability for diverse shifts
• Medical Interpreter certificate preferred
