White Buffalo Treatment Centre Inc is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to promote services for at-risk youth and strengthen connections within First Nations communities. Focus on effective referrals and support for youth in need.
As an Outreach Coordinator, you will conduct assessments, deliver educational workshops, and maintain key relationships with referral agencies. By facilitating access to resources and ensuring follow-up care, you will help youth overcome barriers to participation. This position requires travel to various communities, including remote locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Present workshops and sessions on WBTC services
• Respond to inquiries from communities and referral agencies
• Coordinate applications and admissions processes
• Identify participation barriers for at-risk youth
• Assist with transportation and client-support activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with one year of experience
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention certifications
• Knowledge of First Nations culture is an asset
