Lead stakeholder engagement as the Manager of the Advisory Councils Secretariat in Calgary or Edmonton. This full time position emphasizes governance, team leadership, and operational planning within a transformative health system. As part of the Ministry of Primary and Preventative Health Services, you will oversee council operations, manage meeting logistics, and ensure effective stakeholder participation.
Your leadership will guide a team that fosters continuous improvement and supports health initiatives. Cooperative relationships with council members and government partners are central to this role, enhancing community engagement and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities:
Lead operations for regional advisory councils
Provide leadership and coaching to team professionals
Oversee planning and administration of council activities
Build cooperative relationships with stakeholders
Manage project planning and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements:
University degree in relevant field with four years experience
Valid Class 5 Driver’s license for provincial travel
Understanding of Alberta health care systems
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
