Join Credit Valley Conservation as a Lead Hand, overseeing critical property management tasks 35 hours a week. This position supports ecological stewardship through staff training and operational oversight.

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will manage daily operations across CVC properties. Your role requires collaboration on work plans, staff training, and performing essential maintenance tasks, contributing to environmental conservation and safety. Take pride in working outdoors while positively impacting community natural spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create actionable weekly work plans for staff
• Provide equipment training and safety compliance
• Lead health and safety inspections for facilities
• Maintain trails, bridges,



and public amenities
• Manage and perform emergency cleanup during extreme weather

Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in park or facility maintenance
• Mandatory Chainsaw Operator Certification
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy items and work in all weather conditions
