THE POSITION:
A Service Advisor is the vital connection between our clients and the Service department, they are responsible for scheduling service work and for selling recommended or required services to our clients after gathering and understanding information from our experienced Service Technicians.
They act as the dealership’s first-line client relations and service representative, delivering seamless communication between clients and our service team as well as delivering exceptional service and support throughout the repair process.
Greet clients and provide exceptional service while addressing their equipment needs
Gather detailed information about equipment issues or service requests and create accurate work orders.
Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding their service needs, inquiries, and scheduling.
Collaborate with technicians and parts department to ensure parts availability and service readiness.
Provide clients with detailed estimates for repairs, maintenance, or upgrades.
Keep clients informed about service progress, additional repairs needed, and timelines
Complete work orders upon receiving information from Service Technicians, ensure detailed story on the work order is completed and all parts were used by the technician and have them sign off if necessary
Monitor repair completion progress and make sure open work orders are completed and closed in a timely manner
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their long-term needs and provide tailored service solutions
Maintain accurate records of work orders, work performed, and customer interactions as well as a professional and organized workspace
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain customer loyalty
Stay current with product knowledge, agricultural industry trends, and service techniques
Skills required:
Strong understanding of agricultural, commercial, compact equipment and lawn tractors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in client service facing or service advisor, technical services, parts, warranty or repair from a dealership or similar industry is an asset
Proficient use of computer programs and technology
Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service focused environment, while multitasking and managing time effectively
Problem solving skills with a proactive solution-oriented approach
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
Available to work a flexible shift; and
A client-first attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
