Job Summary

GDI Ainsworth is hiring Journeyman Plumber(s) with commercial experience for the Edmonton team, involved in project, installation and commercial mechanical work.

Key Responsibilities

- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Carry out service work in a professional and respectful manner.
- Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, and install commercial & residential plumbing fixtures.
- Install various types of mechanical equipment and associated piping.
- Install natural gas distribution piping and size it per code.
- Adhere to safe work practices and provide a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

- Red Seal Journeyman Certified.
- Gas B license an asset.




- Commercial experience required.
- Understanding of mechanical installation and local codes.
- Valid Alberta Drivers License.
- Excellent math and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work alone and in a team workplace.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required.
