This position will be responsible for detailing and QA/QC checking of greenfield telecommunication towers, rooftop structures, and other structural steel and concrete projects as necessary.Detailing ResponsibilitiesSPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDEPrepare advanced AutoCAD drawings for:Telecom towers and platformsRooftop support structuresSteel antenna mounts and accessoriesReinforced concrete foundationsProduce fabrication and erection drawings, including CNC/DXF filesPrepare detailed material takeoffs and BOMsCoordinate with engineering staff to interpret design requirementsChecker ResponsibilitiesPerform QA/QC checks on drawing packages for:Dimensional accuracyFabrication requirementsConstructability and clarityCompliance with industry standards and internal practicesProvide constructive feedback and guidance to junior and intermediate detailersHelp maintain and improve internal drafting standards, templates,



and workflowsAssist in resolving complex detailing or fabrication-related issuesSupport project timelines and production prioritiesEDUCATION (THEORETICAL TRAINING)Civil Engineering Technology/Technician diploma or Structural Engineering degreeJob Requirements & Experience10+ years of structural steel detailing experience (telecom experience an asset)Proven experience reviewing or checking structural steel drawing packagesStrong proficiency in AutoCADSolid understanding of steel fabrication, welding, bolting, and erection practicesExcellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to mentor and support less experienced detailersStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Valid driver's license with positive driving recordWesbell welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
