Key Requirements
- Certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph’s College – asset
- Ability to assist in the school’s co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programs – considered an asset
- Current Criminal Record Check (within 6 months) inclusive of a vulnerable sector check
- Current Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within 6 months)
Benefits
The Government of Canada offers Student Loan Forgiveness to teachers who work in Wetaskiwin for 10 consecutive months and have a student loan in good standing. Teachers may receive up to 30000 over a maximum of 5 years.
