Lead the Kanikonriio Program with Six Nations of the Grand River, specializing in youth support and crisis services. This managerial role is pivotal for cultural workshops and mental health programs. The Manager of the Kanikonriio Program will directly supervise a dedicated staff team engaged in initiatives like Youth Life Promotion and Indigenous Community Support.

This position entails developing holistic programs and ensuring effective delivery of services focused on mental health and addiction issues among youth. You will also be instrumental in monitoring program activities and responding to crises affecting students and their families. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise staff across various youth support initiatives
Develop and monitor holistic cultural programs




Engage in crisis response and community support activities
Facilitate training and development needs of the team
Prepare comprehensive program reports for the Six Nations Council Requirements:
Degree in Social Services or related field
Minimum two years’ experience with First Nations Youth
Supervisory experience is an asset
Excellent computer skills required
CPR First Aid certification needed or willingness to obtain Empower First Nations youth through leadership and creative program management in this impactful role.
