Become a vital part of the Faculty of Trades & Technology as a Divisional Program Technician in Metal Trades. Support students and faculty through tool repairs, material preparation, and shop oversight.

This role focuses on assisting various trade programs with hands-on support. You will monitor student activities, maintain inventory, and ensure safe tool handling. Ideal candidates will have strong multitasking abilities and experience in a shop environment while adhering to WHMIS and WCB procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor student activities in the shop environment
• Repair tools and maintain necessary inventory
• Prepare materials for hands-on learning
• Ensure protected operation of machinery and tools
• Help maintain forklift/shop vehicles as required

Requirements:
• Minimum C Level Welding Ticket
• Forklift certification and operation experience
• Knowledge of WHMIS and WCB procedures
• Demonstrated experience in a trades-focused shop
• Strong communication skills in English
