Be a catalyst for change as a Youth Worker in the Back on Track program at YMCA of the National Capital Region, located in Ottawa. This role involves supporting students dealing with academic challenges.

This part time contract position operates from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. You'll primarily work with youth aged 12 to 17, ensuring effective program implementation and guiding students during their referral process. Collaborate with the Ottawa Catholic School Board and actively engage parents in the support process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual and group interventions
• Lead daily workshops on various social topics
• Assist students in completing school assignments
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians
• Compile case files and report on program statistics

Requirements:
• Degree in youth work, social work, or similar
• 2-3 years’ experience in youth support
• Proficient in English; other languages beneficial
• Excellent communication and team leadership
• Must have work authorization in Canada
