Make a difference in the lives of youth as a Youth Worker with the YMCA in Ottawa. Engage in meaningful activities to enrich the Back on Track program.

In this full-time contract from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, your primary role will be to support students aged 12-17 in overcoming academic hurdles. Partnering with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, you will create an inclusive and nurturing setting that fosters personal growth and social skills development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Intervene with students on an individual and group basis
• Conduct daily workshops addressing social issues
• Provide academic support and supervision
• Maintain communication with students' families
• Document case files systematically

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in youth work or related field
• 2–3 years of youth intervention experience
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of community resources in Ottawa
• Work permit and vehicle access needed

Support and empower youth on their educational path as a key member of the YMCA team.
