As an Early Childhood Education Assistant/Administrative Assistant, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing regulations, and collaborate with families. This full-time position involves working with children to provide a culturally centered educational experience. You'll also handle administrative tasks such as record keeping and communication, essential for the effective operation of the daycare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daycare daily operations and compliance
• Ensure respectful care for the children
• Collaborate with families on child development
• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Support culture-based programming and activities
Requirements:
• Valid ECEA Certificate and Food Safe Certification
• Minimum of six months relevant experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of First Nations culture is preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks
