Lethbridge County is hiring 2 Permanent Divisional Grader Operators to support road maintenance, construction, drainage, and public works projects throughout the County.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Operate graders and other heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, dozers, and scrapers as required and directed
Work independently to maintain Lethbridge County's road network in an assigned division or geographic area
Support other crews to maintain and prepare their worksites as required
Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Report mechanical issues and assist with minor troubleshooting and maintenance
Follow all safety policies and procedures and participate in Lethbridge County's Health and Safety program
Assist with general labour duties as required

Who You Are (Qualifications)
Qualified and competent operating a grader safely and independently, required
Experience operating other heavy equipment in road construction, drainage, or civil construction, an asset




Solid understanding of and focus on protected work practices, required
Mechanical knowledge, an asset
Valid Class 5 driver’s license, required
A satisfactory Police Information Check and Driver's Abstract are required for successful applicants.

Working Conditions
Outdoor work in various weather conditions
Overtime and weekend work may be required
