Join AgeCare South Terrace in Edmonton as a Health Care Aide. Make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate resident-focused care under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse. In this casual role, you will collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality services to residents.
Utilizing your knowledge and skill set, you'll perform basic care duties, observe resident conditions, and report observations timely to nursing staff. Your contributions will help foster a holistic Nursing Care Plan while assisting residents with mobility and community engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Provide resident-focused care within your scope of practice
Observe and report changes in resident status promptly
Contribute to the Nursing Care Plan with relevant information
Assist residents with mobility and community activities
Identify and report any unsafe activities Requirements:
Graduate of Health Care Aide program or equivalent
Experience in community health services with seniors
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification recommended
Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain Deliver compassionate care and enjoy making a difference in residents' lives at AgeCare in Edmonton.
