Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting from a variety of ice cream and gelato flavors, toppings, and specialty desserts
Prepare and serve food items accurately, maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
Operate POS systems such as CLOVER POS to process orders efficiently and accurately, handling cash and card transactions with precision
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
Upsell additional toppings or specialty items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, display cases, and serving areas in accordance with food safety regulations




Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff

Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
Familiarity with POS systems such as CLOVER POS or similar cash handling tools
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and giving accurate change
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
