Make a difference in youth lives as a Full-Time Overnight Youth Worker at the Calgary John Howard Society. This role focuses on supporting homeless youth in achieving independence.

In this position, you will report to the Raido House Team Lead and collaborate with the Residential Casework Team. Your primary goal will be to assist youth (ages 15-18) in developing life and employment skills while fostering housing stability. You will support individualized care plans through direct supervision and creative programming, employing a trauma-informed approach to youth care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support the youth in a home-like environment
• Model healthy behaviors and independent living skills
• Collaborate with team on youth goal plans




• Handle routine and crisis situations with a restorative approach
• Facilitate recreational, educational, and community engagement activities

Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma required
• Minimum 2 years' experience with at-risk youth
• History of thriving in rapid-paced environments
• Police Information Check required
• Brain Story Certification an asset
