As a Correctional Program Facilitator, you will report to the Correctional Services Program Manager and be responsible for implementing various culturally relevant workshops. Your role includes coordinating with justice committees and maintaining positive relationships with facility staff. This position offers an chance to make a significant impact in the lives of Nunavimmiut while respecting and honoring their traditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver the Qullik Healthy Relationship Program effectively
• Organize traditional workshops for incarcerated individuals
• Coordinate community workshops with justice committee efforts
• Foster relationships with correctional staff and raise program awareness
• Travel as required for program delivery
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Communicate effectively in Inuktitut, English, and/or French
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
• Strong Inuit cultural knowledge and understanding
• Experience in program delivery or teaching
