Timeplan is looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to join its team starting in September, with roles extending throughout the academic year. This position is perfect for recent graduates interested in pursuing a PGCE or teacher training in the future while gaining valuable classroom experience. You will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to students, requiring an enthusiastic and patient approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students with special educational needs during class
• Develop effective learning strategies tailored to individual needs
• Support teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom
• Foster student engagement and participation in learning
• Participate in ongoing training and career development
Requirements:
• Must hold a degree-level qualification
• Enhanced DBS registration on the Online Update Service required
• Experience working with children 1:1 or in small groups
• Understanding of special education needs is advantageous
• Must be friendly, patient, and motivated to help
