Profile:
Reporting to the Industrialization Supervisor, the Industrialization Intern will assist in the development and execution of project plans that support the company’s manufacturing and industrialization strategies. This internship offers exposure to aerospace manufacturing environments, project coordination, and process improvement initiatives.
This is a 12-16 month internship with a September, 2026 start date.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the development, coordination, and execution of projects aimed at improving production efficiency and process performance
Assist in manufacturing cell design and plant layout planning through data collection, modeling, and documentation
Support budget tracking and project documentation to ensure adherence to timelines and financial targets
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to support industrialization plans for new aircraft programs
Contribute to the identification and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and tools
Assist in ensuring that all tooling, work instructions,
and production resources are properly prepared before program launch
Liaise with production teams to support manufacturing station setup, production readiness, and the development of effective manufacturing processes.
Education & Experience:
Currently enrolled in a Technical or Engineering post-secondary program (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
Strong interest in aerospace manufacturing and industrial project management
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement concepts (coursework or prior experience an asset)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI, Microsoft Access, SQL, or other data analysis tools is considered an asset
Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, SolidWorks, or similar software for manufacturing layouts and process visualization is considered an asset.
Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
