Become a Project Coordinator at Santé Québec Montérégie-Ouest, dedicated to improving domestic violence services for Indigenous communities. This part-time role focuses on coordination and cultural safety in health practices.
In this position, you will serve as a liaison with Indigenous health organizations to ensure culturally protected care pathways. You will be responsible for project planning and execution, documentation of activities, and capacity-building within the communities of Akwesasne and Kahnawà:ke. Stakeholder engagement and interorganizational partnerships will be crucial in achieving your objectives in this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and monitor project objectives and timelines
• Engage stakeholders in knowledge transfer activities
• Develop resources for community health initiatives
• Plan culturally adapted workshops and sessions
• Promote community values in project tools
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Three years in health and social services
• Project management experience required
• Familiarity with violence prevention policies
• Fluent in English and French, knowledge of Kanien’kéha desirable
