Shape the future of plumbing education as a Part-Time Professor at Algonquin College. Teach in the Plumbing Apprenticeship Program while inspiring students in a supportive learning environment. In this role, you will instruct courses within the Plumbing Apprenticeship and Mechanical Techniques Programs. You are expected to design and revise course materials, define learning outcomes, and evaluate student progress. Your teaching will integrate educational technologies to suit the needs of contemporary learners and facilitate academic advising and tutoring. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver energetic instruction in plumbing and mechanical courses
Revise and design course content collaboratively
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Foster a supportive learning setting with technology
Participate in curriculum meetings and industry engagement Requirements:
306A Red Seal Plumber license required
Minimum 5 years of industry experience
2 years of teaching experience preferred
Familiarity with adult learning principles
