Duties
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine the layout and specifications of the project
Use various tools and equipment such as cranes, rigging equipment, forklifts, and hand tools to assemble and weld metal components
Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and stick welding to join metal parts together
Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Use plasma cutting equipment to cut metal pieces according to project requirements
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working setting
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fitting and welding
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting welding symbols
Solid mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding techniques and processes
Ability to operate cranes, rigging equipment, forklifts, and other tools safely and efficiently
Familiarity with assembling metal components using various welding methods
Knowledge of basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Skills:
Blueprint reading
Crane and rigging operation
Mechanical knowledge
Forklift operation
Welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
Metal assembly

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
