Jim Pattison Lexus Northshore is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Car Wash Attendant to join our Service Department. In this role, you’ll help ensure vehicles are cleaned and presented to a high standard before being returned to our customers.

You’ll play an important part in supporting the Service team and helping create a positive customer experience through quality work and attention to detail.

This is a excellent entry-level opportunity to gain experience in the automotive industry, with opportunities to develop and grow your career within he Jim Pattison Automotive Group.

Day in the Life

Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning

Maneuver, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles with care

Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported

Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies

Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information

Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment

Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report

Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset





Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred

Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude

Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

Reliable, punctual, and dependable

This is a physically active role and requires the following:

Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot

Walking and/or standing for long periods

Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching

Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed

This role requires successful candidates to submit a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from ICBC.
