As the Maintenance Assistant, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and be integral to the upkeep of our retirement facilities. Responsibilities include executing repairs on electrical and plumbing systems, painting, and grounds maintenance. Your commitment to safety and adherence to policies will create a welcoming workplace for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute routine repairs on electrical and plumbing equipment
• Perform minor carpentry and maintain exterior grounds
• Inspect premises for safety and maintenance issues




• Follow safety rules and facility procedures
• Handle handyman duties while fulfilling housekeeping tasks

Requirements:
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English
• Capable of self-regulating and independent work
• Familiarity with minor repairs in facility and equipment
• Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
