As an integral part of the Parks, Recreation, and Culture Department, you will ensure spaces are safe for staff and visitors. The role requires solid communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with others. Ideal candidates will bring one year of janitorial experience and a proactive work approach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine cleaning of facilities and fixtures
• Assist with monitoring maintenance and safety hazards
• Effectively communicate with internal and external contacts




• Safely handle and use cleaning tools and materials
• Work independently and maintain accountability

Requirements:
• High School (Grade 12) diploma required
• One year of previous janitorial experience
• B.C. Class 5 Driver's License necessary
• RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance mandatory
• Hold W.H.M.I.S. and Building Service Worker 1 Certificates
