Support individuals with developmental disabilities as a Casual Direct Support Skilled with Karis Disability Services in Saskatoon. Flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends are part of this crucial role.
This position requires a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 or Novice 2 driver's license and involves filling in for various shifts due to personal holidays, sick days, and other vacancies. As a Direct Support Professional, you play an integral role in assisting individuals with daily living activities and ensuring their full integration into the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist individuals with daily life and community engagement
• Work flexible shifts based on service user needs
• Build connections with service users and their support networks
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment
• Collaborate with team members for effective service delivery
Requirements:
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• 3-6 months of relevant experience preferred
