Job Opportunity Join Our Team as the Interim Active Living Manager at Lakeshore Place Retirement Resort!
Location Regency Retirement Resorts have 8 locations in the Okanagan, including Vernon, Penticton, West Kelowna, and Kelowna. This position is on site at Sandalwood.
Job Description Under the direction of the General Manager, the Active Living Manager will be involved in creating and overseeing diverse activities and social programs to enrich residents' lives while fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities Developing engaging events.
Collaborating with community partners.
Motivating resident participation.
Coordinating with other departments and community partners.
Managing budgets.
Ensuring quality standards.
Producing communication materials.
Organizing transportation.
Hosting tours.
Maintaining confidentiality and respect for residents' dignity.
Supporting employee orientation.
Contributing to special events.
Aligning with organizational policies and goals.
Salary Salary: $52,000-$55,000 Annual Base Salary

Education and Experience Two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in the hospitality industry and/or the area of seniors living
Serving it Right Class 4 driver's license is considered an asset but not required.
Skills for Success Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Creative and innovative.
Mental and physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Able to plan, organize and direct people and functions.
Must be tactful, friendly, and patient.
Must be courteous and friendly to visitors and work in a cooperative manner with fellow workers.
Proficiency in digital tools and software is an asset, including Canva, Microsoft Office, and Publisher.
