Become an integral part of Dusk’a Head Start Family Learning Centre as an on-call Early Childhood Educator. Work with children aged 18 months to 5 years, enhancing their early learning experience in a nurturing workplace.

We are looking for enthusiastic Early Childhood Educators holding a Level 1 to 3 designation. This position allows for varied hours, ranging from 7-35 per week, with the potential to become permanent. Ideal candidates possess strong interpersonal skills, cross-cultural sensitivity, and have experience in early childhood education settings focused on First Nations cultural programming.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children
• Collaborate with families and caregivers in child development
• Foster a safe, inclusive,



and culturally sensitive environment
• Observe children’s progress and communicate effectively
• Support First Nations cultural programming in daily lessons

Requirements:
• Level 1 to 3 Early Childhood Education designation
• Recent experience with children aged 18 months to 5 years
• Knowledge of First Nations history and culture
• Certification in First Aid & CPR-C
• Clean criminal records check with vulnerable sector search
