Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to brand, merchandising, safety, asset protection, and inventory standards while managing procurement, receiving, and warehousing processes.
Prepare and administer budgets, pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory to achieve business goals.
Manages sales growth and profitability through effective pricing, promotions, product recommendations, and store standards.
Oversee customer service, daily operations, ordering, receiving, inventory management, and merchandising activities.
Foster a positive work environment and build a strong culture of team engagement.
Lead talent development, coaching, and performance management for the meat department.
Provide leadership and direction while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and expectations.
Recruit, onboard, train,
and support team members to achieve success.
Mentor employees and deliver exceptional customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive knowledge of meat department products with 35 years of meat department management experience.
Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, and Excel); able to adapt to recent technology.
Strong communication skills with a high level of integrity and work ethic.
Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
Flexible with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to address issues effectively through direct, actionable feedback in diverse environments.
Demonstrate the Co-op values of service excellence, teamwork and pride in every aspect of their approach.
Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
