The Organizational Health and Wellness Assistant provides administrative and program support for Organizational Health, Disability Management, Wellness, Violence Prevention, and Peer Support programs. The role coordinates confidential records, monitors compliance and program activities, prepares reports and correspondence, supports departmental leadership and committees, and contributes to the effective delivery of organizational health and wellness initiatives through accurate, confidential, and customer-focused service.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for Organizational Health, Disability Management, Wellness, Violence Prevention, and Peer Support programs.
Maintain confidential records, databases, compliance documentation, and program tracking systems.
Coordinate disability management processes, employee health and safety documentation, and mandatory training records.
Support the Peer Support Program by collaborating with the Peer volunteers to coordinate program activities and response, tracking program activities, and maintaining confidential records.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Monitor compliance deadlines, maintain program metrics, and support audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Deliver professional customer service while collaborating with leaders, employees, unions, and volunteers.
Mandatory Qualifications
Two-year diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Meditech and Parklane is an asset.
Strong administrative, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while delivering exceptional customer service.
