Sessional Lecturer – ANA200H (Fall Term) – Human Visceral Anatomy The Division of Anatomy in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine may hire Sessional Lecturers to deliver courses offered to undergraduate and skilled programs. Course #: ANA200H Title: Sessional Lecturer – Human Visceral Anatomy Schedule: Fall term: Wednesdays 10:10am–12:00pm 2 TAs Session: September 1, 2026 – December 22, 2026 Description This introductory course addresses the structure of human visceral systems using a regional approach to the anatomy of the head and neck, thorax, abdomen, pelvis and perineum. Qualifications PhD in anatomy or a related field Knowledge of anatomy and histology Teaching experience at the university level required Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence and mastery of the subject area is preferred. Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence in online format is an asset. Previous experience in teaching a similar course is highly preferred. Preference in hiring is given to qualified persons advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12. Duties Preparation and in‑person delivery of course material (lectures and labs); preparation and delivery of tests; supervision of teachingassistants; submission of grades,



dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions.
