Role Description The Wealth Associate at RBC Dominion Securities provides dedicated support a Senior Portfolio Manager/Wealth Advisor in Downtown Vancouver Area. This full-time, on-site role involves preparing and processing client documentation, maintaining account records, and ensuring all client information is accurate and compliant with firm and regulatory standards.
The Wealth
Associate responds to client inquiries, coordinates meetings, and helps deliver proactive, high-quality service that supports long-term client relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with financial planning presentations, compiling investment reports, monitoring client portfolios for follow-up actions,
and supporting the execution of investment transactions under the guidance of the advisory team. The role also includes collaborating with internal partners, contributing to operational efficiency, and helping implement service and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and Investments, with the ability to understand market concepts and wealth management products.
Experience or education in Financial Planning, including comfort working with financial plans, proposals, and client wealth strategies.
Excellent verbal and written English Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal partners in a clear and respectful manner.
Robust Analytical Skills, including attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to interpret reports and client information.
Post-secondary education in finance, business, economics, or a related field; industry designations (e.g., CFP, CIM, CSC) are an asset.
Proficiency with office productivity tools and CRM systems; ability to learn new wealth management platforms quickly.
Demonstrated client service orientation, discretion with sensitive information, and commitment to regulatory and compliance standards.
Capacity to work collaboratively within a team, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in a quick-paced environment.
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
Experience in the securities industry is an asset
