Corix manages the Burnaby Mountain District Energy Utility, turning wood waste into clean energy for SFU and UniverCity.

As a 4th Class Power Engineer, you will monitor plant operations, maintain equipment, and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Your hands-on approach will support environmental goals while providing valuable experience in district energy systems. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and adjust plant systems for operational safety and efficiency
Operate and maintain equipment across energy facilities and underground distribution




Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize system reliability
Conduct health and safety assessments for workers and visitors
Maintain detailed accurate records within the CMMS Requirements:
Valid 4th Class Power Engineer certification
At least 2 years of mechanical equipment experience
Class 5 driver's license required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
