Embark on a fulfilling career as Radiation Therapist I with the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency in Regina. You will deliver precise radiation treatments to support cancer patients effectively.
This full-time, permanent role requires a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Radiation Therapy, along with relevant memberships. You will be preparing and administering radiation treatments under the guidance of a Radiation Therapist II, fostering patient relationships, and enhancing therapeutic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver radiation treatments accurately
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists for treatment planning
• Maintain detailed treatment records and documentation
• Interpret complex information and communicate with patients
• Utilize computer systems and applications efficiently
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy
• Basic Life Saver (BLS) certification required
• Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• No previous experience necessary
