Extendicare invites applications for the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) role to provide targeted nursing care for seniors. This part time position involves clinical assessments and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

As an RPN, you will play a vital role in maintaining resident health through monitoring and adapting care plans based on individual needs. You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance within your responsibilities, supporting a positive and safe environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Complete clinical care assessments regularly and accurately
• Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness
• Provide direct care, administer medications, and ensure proper documentation




• Facilitate care conferences and resident transitions
• Respond to emergency situations, administering first aid when necessary

Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Preferred experience in gerontology or complex care
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support is required
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and care documentation systems
