Montessori Casa Lead Guide
Term: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
Yukon Montessori School is seeking a dedicated, experienced Montessori Casa Lead Guide to join our team. This is an opportunity to help deliver meaningful, child-centred Montessori education to students in Yukon.
Responsibilities Lead and support classroom learning activities for children aged 3 to 6.
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning workplace.
Provide direction to children with daily routines and care as needed.
Supervise children during outdoor play, park visits, and field trips.
Maintain regular, respectful communication with parents regarding their child’s well-being and development.
Prepare, maintain, and organize Montessori classroom materials.




Work collaboratively with colleagues to support a positive school community.
Experience working with children aged 3 to 6 and a strong understanding of early childhood development.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Current first aid certification.
Current RCMP vulnerable sector check, negative TB test, immunization records, and a physician’s note confirming fitness to work with children.
Hourly wage will be based on certification level, experience, and training.
