Be part of the Deadly Dads initiative, guiding Cree fathers-to-be with Alberta FNIGC in Maskwacîs. This engaging role combines cultural teachings with community support to foster responsible fatherhood.

As a Community Program Facilitator, you'll coordinate gatherings and sharing circles that empower fathers in navigating life transitions. The position requires strong relationships and a deep understanding of Cree culture to create protected environments for support and reflection. Your role will significantly impact the community, reflecting both trust and emotional steadiness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Organize workshops and community gatherings
• Build trust-based relationships with participants
• Support fathers during life transitions




• Maintain activity records aligned with OCAP® standards
• Prepare reports and activity summaries

Requirements:
• Background working with Indigenous communities
• Expertise in relationship-building and facilitation
• Awareness of culturally grounded practices
• Knowledge of Cree language and protocols
• Driver’s license and a commitment to evening or weekend work

Empower Cree fathers and contribute to community wellness initiatives as a program facilitator.
